Regional Commissioner Opening
AYSO Region 83 Five Cities announces the opening for the upcoming term for the Regional Commissioner (RC) position.
The Regional Commissioner is the chief executive officer of the Region and is responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operation of the Region in accordance with AYSO National Rules & Regulations, Policies, and Bylaws.

Role Overview
The Regional Commissioner:

Manages regional operations and activities

Appoints and supports the Regional Board

Ensures compliance with AYSO governance and Safe Haven requirements

Serves as the primary liaison to Area, Section, and National AYSO

Ensures the Region operates in support of the AYSO Mission:
“Developing and Delivering a Quality Youth Soccer Program”
The Regional Commissioner is a volunteer position and serves as an AYSO Executive Member upon appointment by the AYSO National Board of Directors.
